Overview:

As with "Triple Play" and "Quad Play" offerings from operators using multiple distribution methods, the ideal is to simplify choice. Consumers should be able to access content from a single supplier and pay a single bill whether they are at home, work, or on the road. Mobile TV promises to help the bottom line of distributors and multimedia content suppliers by permitting premium services to be offered, thereby increasing the key metric for the distributors - Average Rate Per Unit or ARPU. Whether provided by 4G, DVB-H or other technologies, mobile video service quality must be high enough to impress customers to maximize service impact. That means the offering must be tested subjectively.
