Overview:
The Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections' (DOCC) Adult Field Services (AFS) division provides probation, parole and pre-trial services to the Fourth Judicial District and the communities of Hennepin County, Minnesota. The challenge was to streamline data exchange, Web-enable systems, enhance disaster recovery capabilities and improve cost-efficiency for adult justice information systems in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The solution was to create secure, cost-effective Linux virtual servers on an IBM eServer zSeries 900 server to facilitate infrastructure consolidation and business integration.
