In Dubai's booming economy, IT and networking skills are in demand. Cisco makes a conscious effort to help Middle Eastern women, as well as men, to build IT careers, for example by finding them internships. All the students of Cisco Networking Academy Program 2005 took part in the project, applying and extending knowledge gained from their CCNA1 studies. Initiatives like this one can certainly get young women enthused about IT training and careers.
