Overview:
The Cisco Networking Academy Program is helping to create opportunities for young Bulgarians with special needs. 26-year-old Gospodin Kostadinov, who has diabetes, continued his Academy studies after IT Essentials, completing the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) training, among other qualifications. Now he teaches IT Essentials himself. Although the flexibility of the Academy Program makes it well-suited to students with special needs, setting up the pilot had required determination on the part of the Academy.
