Overview:

New Balance, a leading athletic shoe manufacturer, was required by some of its retail customers, to apply customer-specific UPC price and inventory labels to its shoe boxes. Because each customer required a different label, the process was difficult and time-consuming. New Balance enlisted the help of Paxar and its' state-of-the-art Monarch Pathfinder Ultra printer. When boxes of shoes need special customer required labels, an employee simply selects the retailer-specific program pre-loaded on the Ultra printer and scans the box. The Monarch Ultra printer does the rest - looking up the information required, printing and even applying the label in one easy motion.
