Overview:
This white paper presents the results of a ShoreTel-commissioned survey that was conducted by Computerworld Research in February 2007. The goal of the survey was to better understand the challenges of IP telephony as reported by IT influencers in the vertical professional services market (primarily in the architecture/engineering and consulting/accounting/ legal segments).
Survey respondents related:
- Where they're at with regard to planning, testing, and implementing IP telephony systems
- What they consider to be their biggest phone system challenges
- The relative importance of specific telephone capabilities and management functions
