Overview:
CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) had used a Java-based application to create a Web portal for property management customers and their tenants. After two years of use, CBRE knew that adding the enhancements and additional features that users wanted would require a custom-built portal - not one it could deploy out of the box. CBRE needed a development system that would maximize the effectiveness of a small development group and facilitate integration, scalability, and performance. CBRE chose to build its new Axis property management portal using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 development system and the Microsoft .NET Framework.
