Overview:

The success of global music company EMI Music's business relies on its marketing efforts nearly as much as the musical talent it promotes. To ensure more effective processes around the world and allow the sharing of best practices and ideas, the company decided to create a global, online marketing repository that removes lengthy e-mail-based processes. The new portal, known within EMI as The Marketing Hub, was developed with partner Avanade, using Avanade Connected Architecture (ACA), which is based on the Microsoft .NET Framework. To create the portal, Avanade also used Microsoft ASP.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
