Overview:
This webcast will describe the process of building an Operational Support System (OSS) for a large telecom company in Europe. The solution was built on Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, the Microsoft .NET Framework and industry-standard XML Web Services. The OSS integrated several services that have been built on different platforms like J2EE, Linux and OpenWave into a modern services-oriented architecture. Using Microsoft Windows platform, it is possible to easily manage numerous provisioning requests as well as extending the platform by adding new services. This webcast shows how one can leverage BizTalk Server to build a Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA) based Operational Support System.
