Overview:

Scientific Games Racing (SGR) provides services, personnel, computer systems, and wagering devices to enable pari-mutuel betting worldwide. SGR functions in an industry that is striving to expand product lines and bet types. To stay in the game, SGR's own systems accommodate heavy spikes in usage, substantial transactions around race times, and high service expectations from customers. Considering that more than 100 North American race tracks and off-track wagering networks are among SGR's customer base, the corporation can afford no downtime. SGR integrated HP OpenView management tools in two data centers to enable new services and centrally manage HP hardware, network devices, application services, and infrastructure components.
