Overview:

Fiat Bank is one of the most effective Auto-Banks in Germany. Fiat Bank wanted to expand their Dealer Information System to other dealers internationally. The Dealer Information System is a mission-critical financial system used by Fiat Auto dealers in Germany, Poland and Austria. In order to expand the system, they needed to replace their Host based interface with a thin, web client interface so that dealers could easily enter a customer finance request. A staff of 3 Fiat Bank developers integrated and extended their Dealer Information System via the internet. The backbone of the Financial System is based on CA-Datacom and services many financial products for dealers and end customers.
