Overview:

Fujitsu Services has a diverse IT environment consisting of 12,000 PCs and 2,000 servers located in more than 80 sites. The company also has numerous mobile workers and utilizes multiple computing platforms. The decentralization of IT infrastructure throughout Fujitsu Services made it difficult and time-consuming to enforce information security policies on the desktop. Local IT managers were tasked with pulling antivirus updates from local servers and the employees then had to apply the updates to their individual PCs. Fujitsu Services wanted to move away from this manually intensive process of locally distributing antivirus protection and decided to search for a centrally managed solution to protect their entire enterprise. Fujitsu Services decided to implement eTrust Antivirus from CA, because of its strong centralized management capability.
