Overview:

Rockford Corporation, a world leader in high-end autosound equipment with distribution in 80 countries, had a problem. Its data backups performed using Veritas solutions were hanging or being corrupted at least once a week. With a data center in Tempe, Arizona, that serves locations in the U.S. and worldwide, backup software that is difficult to use and unstable creates a significant business problem. Rockford decided it was time for a change. After evaluating several industry-leading solutions in 2001, Rockford chose BrightStor Enterprise Backup from CA to replace Veritas solutions. In early 2003, Rockford adopted BrightStor ARCserve Backup for its NetWare environment and upgraded its BrightStor Enterprise Backup solution to take advantage of performance, management and usability enhancements.
