Overview:

Windows SideShow (formerly code-named "Aux Display") is a feature new to Windows Vista that provides users with quick access to data even when their computers are turned off. Windows SideShow targets many classes of devices including laptop lid displays, front-panel displays, and connected devices. A set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are provided that allow applications to send data easily to devices compatible with Windows SideShow. This webcast demonstrates the basics of creating an application that sends data to auxiliary displays using these APIs and tools, which are available in the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) for Microsoft Windows Vista.
