Overview:

Intensive Hosting, the Microsoft enterprise services division of Rackspace Managed Hosting, has further increased operational efficiencies and reduced operating costs by upgrading from version 1.5 to version 2.0 of the Microsoft Solution for Windows-based Hosting. The new Server Purposing module in version 2.0 has shown Intensive Hosting how to make the most of the Automated Deployment Services (ADS) feature of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition. With ADS, Intensive builds rack-ready servers running the Windows Server 2003 operating system in as little as 19 minutes - 68 percent faster than it built Microsoft Windows 2000 Server-based systems without ADS. The new Patch Management module reduces patch deployment times by 85 percent.
