Overview:
In a company like Vodafone, the Technology Division obviously plays a central role both for the mobile phone networks and services area, and for the Information Technology systems and services one. The company wanted to organize all IT system batch processing with centralized job monitoring. What the company needed was a robust tool, which could gain control of the situation and reestablish parameters of manageability. After carefully assessing the various alternatives, Vodafone selected CA Unicenter AutoSys Job Management, initially configured for a distributed environment, allowing each client to create and submit its own jobs.
