Overview:

With more than 14,000 users connected to its network, Temple University was plagued with crippling attacks and illegal file-sharing. Those problems are largely gone, thanks to Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Symantec Sygate Enterprise Protection software. Not a single threat has penetrated the network in more than a year, and allegations of copyright violations are down 73 percent. In addition, the university has reclaimed over six weeks of staff time a year to focus on forward-looking projects such as 802.1X.
