Overview:

Northern Marine Management (NMM) used to rely on UNIX technology to manage, process, and distribute its business information. After a period of rapid expansion, however, the performance of the existing UNIX architecture began to suffer. Employees, for example, had to enter data manually and manage large amounts of paper records - a time-consuming process that increased operational costs. Worse still, the system delayed customer access to information. NMM turned to Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Shian, which implemented Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Now, NMM has all but eliminated its paperwork and reduced the amount of time employees take to locate documents.
