I get confused and this is what I do for a living, so I can only imagine the mind-numbing blather that the poor end-users — who have real jobs — have to deal with. This paper will help make sense of it all by explaining some complex storage concepts in layman’s terms, including definitions of storage-area networks (SAN) vs. network attached storage (NAS), IP storage, virtualization, storage management and more.
