Overview:
Approved by EPCglobal in December 2004, the Class 1 Gen 2 air interface protocol provides a number of enhancements that will help solidify the adoption of RFID in the UHF band. This paper provides a brief explanation of how Class 1 Gen 2 improves on previous EPC protocols and the impact of those benefits.
