The presentation presents Legacy BIOS vs. Framework Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) Firmware on a server platform and demonstration of EFI Framework booting 64 bit Microsoft latest Operating Systems. With EFI option, ROMs can be eliminated. GUID Partition Table (GPT) support adds more fault tolerance.
