Overview:

Together, Deutsche Post AG, DHL, and Postbank form the Deutsche Post World Net, offering integrated services and custom-made solutions for managing and transporting goods, information, and payment. Deutsche Post AG wanted to conceive cross-media customer services with personalized dialog and develop an online response management for post office customers involved in dialog marketing. They wanted to provide direct access to hosted address databases via an internet portal that is password protected. Deutsche Post AG implemented Oracle Database 10g and Oracle JDeveloper, allowing the company to centrally host databases used for an online order platform. They used JDeveloper to provide a standardized, encrypted procedure for personalized, multi-channel addressing.
