Overview:
In June 2005, Sun launched the GlassFish project - an action that opened to the Java community the development of an application server that will be compliant with Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) 5. Since then a large and growing community of developers has actively participated in the project. This paper describes what GlassFish is and why it's important, it points to where a person can get more information, and it shows how to get involved - or even more involved than a person is now.
