Overview:

Helping low to moderate income residents of rural Georgia purchase permanent housing is the goal of Agape CDC of Winder, Ga. A nonprofit organization that partners with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Agape CDC provides housing education and acquisition services as part of the federal government's "Home of Our Own" effort to assist 5.5 million minorities in becoming home owners. When Agape CDC began in 2004, its accounting software was poorly integrated with other programs, leading to wasted time and effort on the part of the small staff. To streamline its accounting activities, Agape CDC installed Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006.
