Overview:

Volume Snapshot Manager is a superior open file management solution for backup, disaster recovery and data protection. Volume Snapshot Manager allows taking an instant snapshot of the disk volumes. The snapshot can be used by backup applications to provide volume backups that do not suffer from the "Skipped file" syndrome normally due to open files. A snapshot from Volume Snapshot Manager can also be mounted as a logical disk drive allowing the user to view files/directories in the state in which they existed at the time of the snapshot. A snapshot from Volume Snapshot Manager requires very little disk space due to StorageCraft "Smart Snap" technology.
