Overview:
Of all the processes associated with employee management, onboarding presents one of the most complex sets of practical obstacles. Everything connected with the hiring of a new employee - from creating accounts in relevant applications to providing them with performance objectives - has to be tackled in a short timeframe of weeks, sometimes even days. Worse, multiple parts of the organization are involved, from the security team at the front desk to HR, Payroll and of course IT. Streamlining all of these processes and speeding up the path to employee productivity is now a priority for many larger organizations, which recognize that greater efficiencies in cost control and productivity translate directly to the bottom line.
