IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory helps a developer to produce flexible, customized portlets that run in WebSphere Portal, as well as stand-alone Web applications, in an easy and highly automated way. The developer can use the HTML Templates feature to achieve a custom, handcrafted appearance for his or her applications without coding the HTML by hand. This paper helps a developer get started with HTML Templates and explains the concepts that form the basis for the automatic construction of the HTML.
