Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. was founded in 1945 under the name of Chosunkanyou Industry in Korea and changed its name to Daehan Vitamin Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in 1961 and finally to the current name in 1978. The challenge was to build a flexible and highly scalable web-based system with centralized and automated data management to retain and enhance customer relationship. Newly developed sales force automation system based on BEA WebLogic enables Daewoong Pharmaceutical to realize the paperless office with effective web-based customer and sales process management by integrating variable data sources scattered all across the company.
