Overview:
Turning on the TV every day to catch the news, a favorite sitcom, or a sporting event may be automatic for millions of people across Italy - but configuring the network to transmit that programming was a tedious and time-consuming manual process for RAI Way. The company manages 2,300 locations throughout Italy. RAI Way also has more than 60 other access points to its transmission network for connecting broadcasting units outside the country. The company wanted to put an end to configuration nightmares by implementing a solution that automates the building of circuits for program data transmission. The company selected Integrated Network Management System based on the HP OpenView TeMIP platform.
