In some situations, deploying your application may prove to be almost as difficult as developing it. This download describes the basics of the Microsoft Windows Installer technology and gives you a glimpse at some of the complexities you will encounter whether using a Wizard or creating your own installation. While installation package creating software such as InstallShield and Wise are available, they do not eliminate the inherent complexity of developing the packaging files.
