Overview:
This client was utilising an existing SAP procurement system, but considered that it was not realising the full benefits of the system. Capgemini was engaged to undertake a review of the client's use of the SAP system, together with a wider eSourcing assessment. The Capgemini team created an eVision for the client's procurement function and identified a range of improvement opportunities. These included a number of short-term improvements to make better use of the SAP functionality. In terms of client benefits, this project identified around £250 million savings over a four year period.
