Overview:
This webcast includes the live construction of an 802.11b link supporting the 1Mbps mode in real-time, followed by a review of a complete model supporting all 4 modes. IEEE 802.11b is currently today's most popular wireless computer networking standard, providing wireless ethernet capability to the home and office environment with data rates of up to 11Mbps. This complex standard which operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band and employs direct sequence spreading, supports 4 different modes of operation and uses up to 3 different modulation schemes in one packet.
