Overview:
Many RFID systems and pilots developed with current Electronic Product Code (EPC) technology will need to be modified for compliance with EPC Class 1 generation 2 specifications soon after the new spec id finalized and product become available. This white paper prepares the reader for a successful migration by providing the necessary background information on Class 1 Generation 1 and Generation 2 specifications.
