Overview:
Entering its fifth decade in space, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has a long tradition in space-based atmospheric and environmental research, and has developed leading technology in telecommunications and direct-broadbast satellites. CSA was having trouble backing up, storing, retrieving and managing its data. CSA wanted to replace its eclectic backup system with a single standardized one that was compatible with the agency's many desktop and network Operating Systems (OSs). After researching and testing the leading systems on the market, CSA selected EMC Legato NetWorker as its agency-wide backup standard.
