Overview:
This paper describes a successful VoIP deployment which depends primarily on two key factors: proper bandwidth provisioning and end-to-end QoS. Voice traffic should be kept in a separate VLAN, and given priority over data traffic. If the WAN is for VoIP, then voice QoS must also be enabled across the WAN link. The integration of ProCurve Networking infrastructure with Mitel Networks telephony equipment offers a best-of-breed end-to-end IP telephony solution based upon industry standards and interoperability. A networking solution from ProCurve and Mitel delivers exceptional call quality for enterprise network users, at an extremely competitive cost of ownership.
