Overview:
Steve Spangler, assistant principal of Middlesboro Middle School in Middlesboro, Kentucky, noticed that many of his teachers were not meeting computing knowledge standards set by the state. Spangler decided to lease 30 Dell Latitude C610 notebooks and establish a mobile wireless computer lab that can be used in any classroom that has an Internet drop. The wireless computer lab is being used on a consistent basis, indicating that teachers are incorporating technology into everyday lessons.
