Overview:
SIP is exciting because its versatility permits rapid development and deployment of new services. But this versatility can lead to implementations that don't interoperate smoothly. SBCs, firewalls and other nodes in IP networks can block packet flows, and poorly provisioned routers can slow time-sensitive traffic. This seminar will survey these and other challenges to real-time service interoperability.
