Overview:

Chicago-based Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) is a leading producer of heavy-and medium-duty trucks and school buses and mid-range diesel engines sold under the International brand. Its goals were to increase shareholder value, provide information to support strategic decision-making, rationalize and motivate changes in corporate behavior, and lift operational excellence to a higher level. As the discussions between ABC Technologies and Navistar progressed, it became clear that the solution was not in a new set of software functions or programming, but in a new way of thinking about how a business model could be designed and constructed.
