Overview:

Many embedded systems have memory and/or computational processing power constraints. The use of models to generate embedded applications requires thoughtful attention to these constraints. This paper investigates the use of Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling tools to generate resource-constrained applications, as illustrated by a small case study of an embedded system.
