Overview:
Business modeling is an important activity in software development, and the Rational Unified Process (RUP) provides a systematic approach to visually representing a business mode. It does not, however, provide a way to derive simulation models that support quantitative comparisons between various improvement options. This paper overviews how to execute the transaction model in a simulation, using the Rational Rose Process Simulator Add-In.
