Overview:

The objective of this whitepaper is to show how terror insurance has grown over the past decade and especially since September 11, 2001. It will compare how industries, as well as national governments, viewed terror insurance prior to 9/11 and how they are approaching it today. It will also demonstrate the importance of terror insurance coverage by looking at the economic damage that was caused by the 9/11 attacks. Finally, it will postulate how the insurance industry plans to address the challenges posed by the threat of terrorism into the next decade using conventional ideas as well as new technology.
