Overview:

MediMark International is an independent Australian company providing medical education programs to general practitioners and specialist physicians. With the assistance of 20 - 50 temporary managers, it delivers 2,000 - 3,000 courses each year that help doctors stay up to date with therapeutic best practices. Although it used a terminal server infrastructure, and its staff accessed email via Outlook Web Access, MediMark International spent a large proportion of its IT energies on employee support, as regional and temporary staff struggled to set up their laptops to access MediMark International systems. In January 2009, the company upgraded to Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.
