Overview:

The Secretaria de Estado da Fazenda e Gestao Publica do Acre (SEFAZ) provides and administers financial resources of the State of Acre, in the Brazilian Amazon region. The institution generates income for the economic and social development of Acre. Its objective is to guarantee legal and fiscal transparency of public expenditures. The challenge was to centralize the database to manage costs throughout all areas of the department. SEFAZ implemented Oracle Real Application Clusters to offer a balanced use load, allowing the automatic migration of all transactions into an available node, without impacting transactions and requests.
