Overview:
This paper gives you a summary of the required configuration instructions for using the Cisco PGW 2200 Softswitch with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The configuration explained in this paper is used to enable SIP clients (Cisco IP Phone 79x0, Cisco Analog Telephone Adaptor (ATA) 18x, Microsoft MSN) to use the PGW for call routing of incoming and outgoing calls. The call flow can be either from PSTN phone - client to a SIP client or vice versa.
