Overview:

Existing grants management systems and outcome monitoring processes won't satisfy newer stimulus funding accounting and reporting requirements. Unfortunately, due to the enormous impacts of the federal funding, state governments are ill-prepared to implement the new requirements because of insufficient IT infrastructures and staffing. The data management, reporting and analytical requirements will require proven, quick-to-implement data solutions on which government leaders can depend with the utmost certainty. Moving quickly to distribute, manage and optimize stimulus funding so that it will have the greatest impact on the economy will be an enormous challenge. SAS has proven itself throughout all 50 states to take state governments beyond business as usual.
