This paper takes a brief look at the drivers of LDS initiatives and the challenges in implementing a large-scale data warehouse that can support the analytics and reporting needed to achieve the goals of LDS initiatives. It then explores SAS' best-practice-based framework for implementing large-scale data integration and enterprise data warehouse initiatives. This framework has been well-honed over years of successful implementations of systems for multinational companies and state and federal governments.
