Overview:
This paper provides guidelines and best practices in the planning and implementation of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 on HP servers and storage. This white paper covers both stand-alone and distributed services implementation strategies as recommended by Microsoft. Additional recommendations were provided from the experiences of early adopters such as Solver, Inc. and from Microsoft's Office PerformancePoint team. PerformancePoint Server, also known as PPS, consists of a feature-rich set of development tools to enable businesses with clear visibility into performance metrics and enable stakeholders to design actionable dashboards and reports.
