Overview:
HP and Oracle Retail have a 10 year history of collaboration and leadership supporting large retailers. Working closely with Oracle Retail performance engineers, HP executed Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) tests simulating a day in the life of an RMS user. HP was able to characterize performance of RMS on HP Integrity servers to effectively tune and size HP-UX 11i v3 Integrity server configurations and to demonstrate the effectiveness of the HP Integrity server platform for Oracle RMS 13 environments.
