Overview:

BI, in short, is an indispensable central element in the goal of EDP, which is "the IT enablement" of a "business transformation" that will positively impact people (by facilitating cross-sector collaboration and sharing) and processes (by reducing implementation time and cost at every site and establishing consistency among them). The program's first project was to standardize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems on the Oracle platform. At one time, Ingersoll Rand had more than 130 ERP systems from an array of vendors.
