Overview:
HP9000 customers have several infrastructure options to consider when upgrading to SAP ERP 6.0 and Oracle Database 10g or 11g. The HP Integrity blade server, coupled with HP StorageWorks EVA4400 storage array solutions, provides a robust and simple to manage infrastructure. This whitepaper describes the benefits of this choice, the most important new technical capabilities, and the best practices for transferring SAP applications and the supporting Oracle database. The benefits, techniques and best practices described here are most applicable for customers with 200 to 2000 SAP users, who are currently running on older HP 9000 servers.
